Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ErrorAnalyser desktop application and website (the "Service"), provided by ErrorAnalyser ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
ErrorAnalyser reads error and warning entries from your local Windows Event Log and uses third-party artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate explanations and suggested next steps. Analyses are provided for informational purposes only and depend on data you choose to submit. To operate and improve the Service we also process pseudonymous usage analytics and, on selected website pages only (never in the desktop application and never on sign-in or registration pages), session replays with all input fields masked. How we handle all of this data is described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You are responsible for the data you choose to submit for analysis and for ensuring you are entitled to share it.
3. Plans, pricing & payment
- The Service offers a free tier with usage limits and a paid "Pro" subscription. Current pricing and limits are shown on the pricing page (prices in Polish złoty, PLN, unless stated otherwise).
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor Stripe and renew automatically each period until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time from your account or the Stripe billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period, after which it is not renewed.
- We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice. Changes apply to subsequent billing periods, never to a period already paid.
4. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the Service is digital content/services supplied immediately, by subscribing and starting to use it you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, or accept a proportionate charge for use before withdrawal, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or submit content you are not authorised to share;
- attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls;
- reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
6. AI output & no warranty
Analyses are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. They are not professional IT, security, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for any action you take based on the output — always verify before changing system settings, the registry, drivers, or files. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, and content, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the application for its intended purpose. You retain any rights you hold in the error data you submit.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or damage to your system arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including statutory consumer rights).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the account settings page. Deleting your account removes your profile, subscription records, and usage data and cancels any active subscription, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above and, where required, communicated to you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
